In late 2016, Lindsay Hart was approached by an eager and like minded woman who was looking for financial freedom and life balance and thought real estate would be a good fit. This initial partnership would go on to set up the model for the Hart and Homes Team.
In June of 2017, Tiffany Bechtold, smart, competitive and self-directed with a great care for her community and family, came on board, providing incredible admin support and is now a kick-ass licensed real estate salesperson. Tiffany earned the RE/MAX Executive club award for two consecutive years (18 & 19) and In 2020 she excelled and earned the 100% club award along with local peer recognition -earning the initiative award. Tiffany has gone on to earn the 100% club award in 2021, 2022 & 2023 for her achievements in real estate.
Then, in the fall, Karen Potter, a well connected fixture in the community with incredible listening skills and customer service experience, approached Lindsay and decided to join this creative and supportive team of boss babes and is excelling as a licensed real estate salesperson. Karen has earned the RE/MAX Executive award 3 years in a row and in 2022 earned the 100% club award! Karen has discovered her talent and love for helping first time home buyers and sellers and is looking forward to her 6th year in real estate!
In 2018, Colby Gee (jē) thought this team would be a good fit. With his enthusiasm, competitive and goal driven personality, he is proving that it is a good fit. Colby earned the executive club award from RE/MAX in 2019 for his outstanding sales achievement and in 2020 and in 2021. in 2022 & 2023 he earned the 100% club award.
In January of 2019, after a year of admin support for the team, Chelsey Smith started her career as an agent. 5 years and dozens of clients later Chelsey has proven again that she has the skills and know how to market, sell and help clients buy property, all while getting involved with the industry at the local and state level. She earned the Executive club award in only her 3rd year in real estate and has broken a new plateau, earning the 100% club award in 2022 & 2023! There is no challenge in real estate that Agent Smith cannot handle.
We welcomed Ithaca NY local, Alanie Woodin to the Team in the early summer of 2021. With 6 years of Ithaca property management and apartment/lease/renter experience, with a private company, under her belt, she knew that getting her license and helping people buy and sell was the next logical step. In 2022 Alanie proved this is the place for her as she earned the executive club award for her hard work and dedication in her first full year in real estate and continued in her 2nd year to earn the executive club award (2023).
And in 2023, Dan "go bills" Bechtold chose to get his license and join our team! You may have heard this name before; Tiffany Bechtold is Dan's wife and biggest fan. After having taken a year off from law enforcement and traveled the country, they came back to the Finger Lakes for family and a purpose over a pension. Dan is so happy to join the team, as are we, and his background in negotiations and handling stressful situations will benefit this additional career in real estate. Dan is already ahead of the curve having learned so much just by being around our team for the last 6 years!
And that is how the composition of this team organically came about. With a combined 30+ years of experience in & knowledge of the local real estate market we will diplomatically and skillfully negotiate and advocate for you and guide you through all aspects of the real estate process and paperwork; working together to make your home ownership dreams or home sale goals come true.
